Sad Last Night of Tarawih in Ramadan 1445 AH: Dai Ambassadors Bid Farewell to the Worshippers of Al Anwar Mosque, Incheon

Malam terakhir Ramadan Dai Ambassador Dompet Dhuafa di Korea Selatan

INCHEON, SOUTH KOREA — At Al-Anwar Mosque, Incheon, a meaningful moment occurred when Muslims around the Soegu region celebrated the last Tarawih of the year with Ustaz Ihya Ulumudin, Dai Ambassador of Dompet Dhuafa. As is known, Ustaz Ihya has been with the congregation since the beginning of Ramadan. For many, Ramadan is not just about worship, but also about strong social bonds and spiritual togetherness. When the end of Ramadan comes, sadness and nostalgia often set in. Especially when it comes to saying goodbye to those who have been an important part of our spiritual journey.

At Masjid Al-Anwar, this experience is made all the more profound by the fact that we will be saying goodbye to a preacher who has been an inspiration to many worshippers during Ramadan 1445 AH. Dai Ambassador, as he is often referred to, has been a light to this community, guiding them on their spiritual journey, and providing deep insight into the teachings of Islam.

During the last Tarawih in the mosque, there was a mixed atmosphere. There were feelings of happiness for completing the month of Ramadan well, and sadness for the dai who was about to say goodbye. The congregation gathered to hug each other and thank Dompet Dhuafa’s Dai Ambassador for being a role model for them. There were tears flowing between smiles that tried to hide the sadness.

The month of Ramadan is a time when Muslims strive to get closer to Allah Swt through fasting, prayer, and other good deeds. However, it is also a time where we build close relationships with fellow Muslims, share stories, and support each other in our spiritual journey. The passing of a preacher who has become part of our daily routine during Ramadan leaves a deep hole in the hearts of many.

Although the parting is sad, there is joy in remembering all that the preacher has taught the community. The teaching moments, inspiring talks, and opportunities to learn together will always be remembered with warmth. The positive influence that Ustaz Ihya has had will continue to shine, even after he leaves Al-Anwar Incheon Mosque.

It is also a reminder to all of us of the importance of cherishing every moment with those we love and who have made a huge impact in our lives. Ramadan teaches us the importance of love, compassion and respect for one another. When we say goodbye to someone who has given so much to us, we are also reminded of our vulnerability and the short time we have together.

As the last Tarawih ended, the congregation left with heavy hearts, but also filled with gratitude for the opportunity to share precious moments with Ustaz Ihya during Ramadan. Although this parting brings sadness, the spirit of Ramadan still burns in their hearts. A reminder that spiritual togetherness and strong bonds of brotherhood will always bind them together, in this world and in the next.
