2 Years After Graduation, Ariansyah Finally Got His Certificate

BOGOR – Ariansyah (20) lives alone with all her limitations. Since his father died in 2015, the student, usually called Ari, has helped his mother support the family. In 2020, his mother passed away due to asthma. From then on, Ari supported herself while working part-time to pay for his schooling.

With good intentions to help his mother who was sick, Ari started working before graduating from school. Even since elementary school, he has started working on the spot as a motorcycle and car washing service.

“I started helping my mother when I was in school, even the school fees for my mother only paid half and half of it I paid, so half-and-half with my mother to pay for school,” she said when telling the Dompet Dhuafa team, on Tuesday (25/10/2022), at SMK Ardsentra, Bojonggede District, Bogor Regency, West Java.

Ari graduated from SMK Ardsentra in 2020. However, he could not take the Certificate because he had not paid off his school fees. At that time, Ari lived alone as a kara in his rental. Not only for tuition fees, he still has other necessities to live and continue his daily life. Everything he does independently.

Ariansyah showed the certificate he had just received.

To make ends meet, Ari worked to try little by little to pay off the arrears from school so he could take a certificate . Now, he works at a Public Refueling Station (GAS STATION). He said that after receiving the certificate , Ari wanted to find a better job to provide for his life.

At one time, the principal of SMK Ardsentra announced that Dompet Dhuafa was holding a Certificate Redemption program. Of course, with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm, Ari is looking for more in-depth information about this program. He also tried to apply and was declared eligible to be a beneficiary of this program by Lembaga Pelayan Masyarakat (LPM) of Dompet Dhuafa team.

“So I tried to redeem the certificate from Dompet Dhuafa. I was surveyed to my house and finally got my school certificate thanks to the help of Dompet Dhuafa,” he explained.

Dompet Dhuafa through the Community Service Institute (LPM), helped Ari to get a certificate that had only been stored in the School archives for two years. LPM, through the Tebus Ijazah program, has paid off Ari’s arrears and his certificate can be acquired happily.
