JAKARTA — Ramadan is synonymous with intense worship, both worship that is directly related to God and humans. This holy month is an arena for controlling lust, so as to be able to become a pious person, both spiritually and socially. In an effort to achieve the blessings of Ramadan, OK OCE Indonesia and MPZ Dompet Dhuafa OK OCE Humanity held an iftar with Sandiaga Uno on Tuesday (3/26/2024) at Amaris Hotel, Pancoran, Jakarta.
The iftar event with the theme “Happiness for Orphans in the Holy Month of Ramadan” is also a momentum to foster kindness. Not only giving donations to orphans and poor people, the event also paid donations to Quran teachers as a form of appreciation for their dedication. In addition, donations were also made to the poor converts, with the aim of embracing them in ukhuwah islamiyah.

Budi Nopianto, Chairperson of OK OCE Kemanusiaan, explained that the big changes faced by converts in making the decision to embrace Islam are not easy.
“We hope that this donation is a form of solidarity to encourage the converts in facing the challenges,” he said.
Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia and Founder of OK OCE, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, was also present at the blessed moment. He said that such activities have urgency so that they can continue to provide benefits for those in need.
“Starting from orphans to the poor. May blessings accompany us all,” he said.
On the other hand, MPZ Dompet Dhuafa OK OCE Kemanusiaan also gave appreciation to religious teachers as a form of appreciation and appreciation for their dedication and devotion in guiding Muslims in understanding and practicing religious teachings.
Sandi stated that teachers are unsung heroes. It is fitting to appreciate them as educators of the nation and religion.
