MALANG, EAST JAVA – In addition to being produced and sold as a beverage, the aloevera leaves are sometimes purchased by people who want to use them as medicine, ornamental plants, or for other purposes. Everyone who has tasted this drink acknowledges its flavor and freshness.
Unfortunately, until today, this product has not yet been able to be sold more widely. The main obstacle is that SUEGEERRR does not yet have a BPOM (Indonesian Food and Drug Authority) certification. In fact, many stores are interested in ordering this drink, but the absence of BPOM certification is causing a delay.
“That’s why we are currently striving to obtain BPOM certification, so we can reach wider markets, especially in tourist areas in Malang,” explained Hamdan.

Nonetheless, SUEGEERRR continues to be produced each month for sale at Warung Sehat, a mini-market in the BMP Area. Additionally, SUEGEERRR is also available at a coffee shop, Kopi Sawah, located in a tourist area, where the café regularly places weekly orders to resell to its customers.
Each month, approximately 100 bottles are produced in response to orders. In terms of cardboard packaging, this amounts to around six cartons supplied to Kafe Sawan and Warung Sehat.
“We once received an extremely high order of up to 600 cartons during Ramadan. Indeed, this drink is very refreshing and enjoyable when served for breaking the fast,” said Hamdan.

The drink is offered in two packaging variants: plastic glass and bottle. The small glass packaging is priced at Rp2,000 per piece, while the bottle packaging is priced at Rp10,000 per piece. Typically, the glass packaging is further packed in a set containing six pieces, while the bottle packaging is also packed in a box containing ten pieces.
The entire production process of SUEGEERRR is managed by the three benefit recipients from start to finish. Meanwhile, Ustaz Hamdan is responsible for the maintenance of the aloevera plants and the marketing of the product.
Due to the absence of BPOM certification, the salaries or incomes of the benefit recipients depend on the volume of orders and sales achieved. Iklimah, one of the benefit recipients, reported that the highest income earned was Rp1,800,000. (Dompet Dhuafa/Muthohar)
