PALESTINE — Alhamdulillah, Dompet Dhuafa, together with local partners in Palestine, distributed humanitarian aid from donors Amal Khair Yasmin and Gerakan Islam Cinta (GIC) to Palestinian refugees on May 21 & 22, 2024. The aid was in the form of prepared meals and was distributed at Dar Al Arqam Camp, Al Naser Street, North Gaza.
Thanks to Amal Khair Yasmin and GIC, the collaboration of kindness can be realized and delivered in the North Gaza Strip. However, the Dompet Dhuafa Team could not continue the distribution in the camp because Israel asked people to evacuate immediately.

“In the two days, we distributed here. Tomorrow we can’t continue in this camp as Israel contacted people there to evacuate the region. But thank you so much to all donors for this help. (In these two days we distributed (aid) in this camp. Tomorrow we can’t continue because Israel contacted people there to evacuate the area. However, thank you very much to all donors for this help,” said Dompet Dhuafa’s partner in Palestine through a short message.
Previously on Wednesday (1/24/2024), a representative of the Khair Yasmin Charity Foundation, Sulistiyo, along with the Chairman of the Love Islam Movement (GIC), Eddy Aqdhiwijaya, attended a gathering with Dompet Dhuafa at the Philanthropy Building, South Jakarta. There, Sulistiyo also said that the Amal Khair Yasmin Foundation together with GIC also carried out humanitarian actions for Palestine and invited kindness through the KitaBisa.com donation platform since October 2023.

“It is not the first time for Amal Khair Yasmin to establish synergy with Dompet Dhuafa. Since its establishment, we have the same vision. We also noticed that Dompet Dhuafa for Palestine is consistent. They even send a team to oversee the aid,” admitted Sulistiyo, Program Manager of Amal Khair Yasmin Foundation on Wednesday (1/24/2024).
“Dompet Dhuafa’s reporting is reliable. Although we all know the difficulties and challenges on the ground (Palestine), the transparency is guaranteed. Hopefully, this donation will also be a means of kindness again and we want to learn,” added Sulistiyo.

Now, Israeli groups blockade and even loot aid to Gaza. In the midst of these limitations, Dompet Dhuafa continues to be committed to distributing aid in Palestine in various forms.
