JAKARTA — The Human Development Institute or LPI Dompet Dhuafa held Public Expose & Education Outlook 2024 during the third segment of the Indonesia Humanitarian Summit or I-HitS 2023 at Ciputra Artpreneur, Jakarta on Thursday (21/12/2023). At I-HitS 2023, Dompet Dhuafa provided a Focus Working Group Discussion session for the five pillars of Dompet Dhuafa’s programs.
This segment was held to formulate priority poverty issues and make strategic commitments related to poverty alleviation. One of the contributors was Dompet Dhuafa’s education pillar, held by LPI, which also hosted the Public Expose & Education Outlook titled “Towards Educational Sustainability from Locality to Globality.”
LPI Dompet Dhuafa, focusing on managing educational programs, is committed to producing quality educational models for marginalized communities. LPI Dompet Dhuafa strives to adapt to the dynamics of the times to produce quality educational innovations, human resources investment, good governance, and strategic collaborations.
In 2023, LPI Dompet Dhuafa has spread benefits to more than 50,000 benefit recipients, showing that the benefits have had a positive impact on improving the quality of life of the community.
Public Expose & Education Outlook 2024 served as a comprehensive space to present LPI Dompet Dhuafa’s annual performance, aiming to receive feedback from various stakeholders, benefit recipients, partners, donors, alumni, and the public.
“The information on the impact of LPI Dompet Dhuafa’s performance is expected to raise public awareness of the organization’s accountability and strengthen potential collaborations in the future to address contemporary challenges,” said Mulyadi Saputra, Head of LPI Dompet Dhuafa.
Public Expose & Education Outlook 2024 LPI was presented by Rina Fatimah, GM of Education at Dompet Dhuafa; Mulyadi Saputra, Head of LPI Dompet Dhuafa; Ahmad Jamaludin, Founder of SMPIT Pancuh Tilu; Ferro Ferizka Aryananda, Founder of Pijar Foundation; and Asri Yusrina, Researcher at SMERU Research Institute. The speakers raised and discussed issues of functional education, fostering Gen Z’s potential, and educational impact collaborations.
“By addressing these topics, we believe we can build synergy and collaboration to improve the quality of education in Indonesia through the best educational models,” said Mulyadi Saputra.

He added that the substance of Public Expose & Education Outlook 2024 is to serve as a space for testing ideas and organizational performance to receive feedback and evaluation in its development process.
“This year we are adopting a different concept by introducing walking groups. Walking groups are a forum for discussion, idea sharing, and good practices from various perspectives on strategic issues in education,” he added.
Strategic issues were dissected by experts in their fields, such as Citra Widuri, Chairwoman of the FOZ Scholarship Department; Zensa Rahman, Managing Director of Pemimpin ID; Aditya Warman, representative from Paragon; Nisa Felicia, Executive Director of PSPK; Bukik Setiawan, Coordinator of the Education Philanthropy Cluster; and Fauzan Ramaditya, Founder of Readcubator.
“As an educational institution, we want to receive as much positive feedback as possible so we can design sustainable education programs to improve community quality and have multiple benefits,” Mulyadi Saputra explained.

Through Public Expose & Education Outlook 2024, LPI Dompet Dhuafa aims to create transparency in education management through public funds so that the ecosystem of collaboration continues to provide quality education. LPI Dompet Dhuafa never stops advancing education in Indonesia and is committed to developing the best education and maximizing the potential of marginalized communities.
“Responding to strategic challenges on a global scale cannot be separated from developing educational planning designs. The educational process must prepare a holistic learning experience and nurture growth,” Mulyadi Saputra concluded.
He hopes that the small steps taken by LPI Dompet Dhuafa will contribute to the big dreams of education in Indonesia.
