Become a Backbone Woman for 3 Children, LPM Helps with Business Capital

BOGOR — Living in Jampang Village, Kemang, Bogor Regency, a tough woman never tires of supporting the lives of her 3 children. She has lived life as the backbone of the family since her husband’s departure a few years ago. In addition, there is still one more person, her mother who also has to rely on living with her.

In a semi-permanent rented small house building on land owned by the company, the woman called The Irma opened a stalled business with a wide selection of food and drinks. This started after the death of her husband due to kidney disease.

Her first child who was expected to be the backbone of the family had an accident. As a result, the hero has problems with her legs so she cannot work much for the family. Not to mention, two of her younger siblings also have asthma, requiring him to be in the treatment period.

“My oldest child had an accident and couldn’t walk, limped a little bit,” she said.

Although she only has a business stall to support her family’s life, the results still need improvement for daily home needs. From these stalls, she usually earns around Rp100,000/day. With this number of results, she must be very smart to organize in dividing it for all needs at home.

As a form of appreciation for the struggle of Irma Tea, on Wednesday (1/2/2023), the Lembaga Pelayan Masyarakat (LPM) Dompet Dhuafa assisted in the form of business capital. This assistance is to help her meet the needs of the stall so that the results can later be used for family needs.

Assisted by the baby, Teh Irma and Tarmizi Akbar as the LPM team shopped and arranged the selling materials. She wholeheartedly expressed her gratitude to Dompet Dhuafa and her donors who cared for her family.

“Thank you Dompet Dhuafa and donors. May we all be given a smooth fortune and blessings,” she said.

Hope now, her sick son will soon be given a cure so that she can help the family’s economy at home. In addition, she also hopes to have her residence on her land, so she only sometimes feels worried about her house being evicted. (Dompet Dhuafa/LPM/Muthohar)
