The distribution of Mushaf and Prayer Tool Gift packages is carried out by cooperating with Dompet Dhuafa branches and Dompet Dhuafa distribution partners who have been Dompet Dhuafa partners. The distribution was carried out during the month of Ramadan 1445 H to people in need. For example, the distribution of Al-Qur’an copies was carried out in the Southwest Papua, Maluku and Bali regions, because the need for copies in these two regions is quite large, especially in remote areas.
Meanwhile, the distribution of the Prayer Tool Gift package was carried out on Saugi Island, Makassar. This location was chosen because the people on the island are still dominated by marginalised fishermen with low to middle income. Therefore, the Kado Alat Salat donation will give them a glimpse of happiness in the holy month of Ramadan with new prayer tools for their families.
Head of the BPKH Executive Board, Fadlul Imansyah, stated that the 1445 H Ramadan Blessing Programme with BPKH is a form of BPKH’s commitment to increasing the role and benefits of the Public Endowment Fund for the benefit of Muslims in Indonesia.
‘We hope that this programme can help improve the quality of Qur’an recitation, provide wider access to Muslims to learn the Qur’an, and increase the spread of Islam in this blessed month of Ramadan,’ said Fadlul.
Chair of the Dompet Dhuafa Foundation Board, Ahmad Juwaini, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the collaboration between BPKH and Dompet Dhuafa in this year’s Ramadan Blessing Programme.
‘We sincerely hope that the synergy and collaboration between BPKH and Dompet Dhuafa will continue and further expand its reach and impact. With the united efforts of various parties, we are sure that more benefits for people in need will be realised,’ said Ahmad Juwaini.
