BANTEN — Dompet Dhuafa together with Hijup, an online shopping service provider for Muslim clothing, rolled out an act of concern for orphans. This concern was realized in the action of distributing one hundred Hijup products, in the form of clothes and school bags, to 50 orphans in Cibuah Village, Warunggunung, Lebak on Thursday (7/9/2023).

Hijup collaborates with Dompet Dhuafa to collaborate to enliven National Children’s Day and Lebaran Yatim. Through this program, Hijup and Dompet Dhuafa invite users of the Hijup application and website to donate clothes to orphans. Every purchase made by users through the Hijup application and website during the campaign period is worth a donation of one piece of clothing for orphans.

The program entitled Clothing for Orphans and Dhuafa is given to orphans and dhuafa children in Cibuah Village. The reason is that Cibuah is a developing area and is one of the Healthy Areas assisted by Dompet Dhuafa’s Free Health Services (LKC).

Meti Indriani, an LKC Dompet Dhuafa cadre in the Cibuah Village Healthy Area, said that the condition of Cibuah Village is now getting worse due to the presence of the dry season. Most of the land / rice fields are experiencing drought. So, the community’s farming activities were forced to stop a lot. In fact, farming is one of the main livelihoods for the people of Cibuah Village.

Digital Partnership Officer, Affrizal also explained, the Clothing Program for Orphans and Dhuafa is a form of appreciation from Dompet Dhuafa and Hijup users to children who continue to be enthusiastic about learning in the midst of their limitations. Dompet Dhuafa and Hijup strive to maintain their enthusiasm to continue to study hard, so that one day what they aspire to will be realized.

“In the momentum of National Children’s Day and Eid Yatim, Dompet Dhuafa and Hijup are trying to appreciate the spirit of orphans, so that they continue to be active in learning and pursuing their goals. Because these children are assets of the nation that must be preserved,” he said.
