LAMPUNG — Over the course of 9 days, 14 empowered women in Lampung have successfully gone through spa therapist training. They also received a certificate of competency, which means they are ready and recognized to work in the fitness service industry.
The certificates were handed over by the training organizers, Dompet Dhuafa Lampung and the Institute of Independence in collaboration with Latifa Spa Academy at the Dompet Dhuafa Lampung office, Bandar Lampung, on Tuesday (06/08/2024).
The matter of cost is not an obstacle for the participants. The reason is, the training is held free of charge. Since July 25, 2024, they have diligently followed each series of training to improve their soft and hard skills. Their desire to be able to work professionally is now wide open.

The closing of the training agenda on August 6, 2024 was an important momentum in the journey towards professional and characterful spa therapists. The closing of this training is not only the culmination of the training agenda but also the beginning of a step in the health service industry.
“Alhamdulillah, after undergoing various trainings. Today is the last day of training. But this is the first step to be ready to enter the world of work. Continue to improve competence and show a good attitude to consumers later,” said Dompet Dhuafa Lampung Branch Manager, Yogi Achmad Fajar to the participants.
Director of Latifa Spa Academy, Ferawati also expressed a similar sentiment. Character must be a concern. Because that will be the added value and differentiator from other competitors.
“Service excellence and a good self-concept must be the focus and will be the added value and differentiator from others. God willing, with the support of good skills, it will make customers happy and pleased,” she said.
In addition to providing competency certificates, Latifa Spa Academy also provides opportunities for participants to become partners and internships for those who are interested.
