BALI — The ongoing Israeli occupation in Gaza has led to tragic losses, with over 13,000 individuals, including 5,500 children and 3,300 women, having perished between October 7, 2023, and November 20, 2023. These figures represent not merely statistics but lives deeply mourned by their families. In response, the global community continues to send various forms of humanitarian aid to support the Palestinian people, particularly those in Gaza.
In a notable effort, Dompet Dhuafa’s Bali branch has joined forces with the Indonesian Navy to send humanitarian aid to Palestine. On Thursday (23/11/2023), two trucks loaded with humanitarian supplies were dispatched. The consignment is destined for Palestine aboard the Indonesian Navy’s Hospital Ship, KRI Dr. Soeharso, taking the route via Lebanon. The shipment includes essential items such as baby diapers, sanitary pads, hijabs, and powdered milk.
