WEST JAVA – As an institution that upholds the values of Pancasila, Dompet Dhuafa’s Community Service Institute (LPM) held the Kampung Gebyar Pancasila activity on Saturday (1/6/2024). The activity in commemoration of the Birth of Pancasila took place with a series of events held at the Historical House, Rengasdengklok. That is the place where Soekarno and Hatta were kidnapped by the youth group in order to urge the reading of the proclamation of independence.

In its implementation, LPM Dompet Dhuafa involved all elements of the local community. Starting from children, teenagers, adults, to the elderly. The committee also involved women, school students, Quran recitation teachers, mosque caretakers, orphans, local government, local security, and youth organisations. It was recorded that 250 residents were very enthusiastic about participating in each series of events.

Kamal continued, with this event, Dompet Dhuafa hopes that the local community can be more familiar with and not forget the history that exists in their own area. In addition, the values contained in Pancasila are also always embedded in each community, so that it can be practised in everyday life.

While all the residents were engrossed in the competition, the Dompet Dhuafa Cuma-cuma Health Service (LKC) team was present to open free health services. Most of the elderly were very enthusiastic about utilising this service. But not a few men also got it. There were at least 86 residents who received health check services.
