CIBINONG, BOGOR REGENCY – Dompet Dhuafa received an award from the Bogor Regency Government (Pemerintah Kabupaten Bogor) at the National Social Solidarity Day (HKSN) Commemoration Ceremony at Tegar Imanman Square, Cibinong, Bogor Regency on Tuesday (20/12/2022).
This award was given for the role of the Respons Darurat Kesehatan (RDK) Layanan Kesehatan Cuma-Cuma (LKC) Dompet Dhuafa program. The Bogor Regency Government assessed that LKC Dompet Dhuafa has consistently contributed and collaborated with the government in handling the National Welfare Service Government or Penanganan Pemerlu Pelayanan Kesejahteraan Nasional (PPKS) in Bogor Regency.
LKC is a non-profit organization of Dompet Dhuafa network explicitly engaged in the health sector. For 21 years, LKC has served people in need and the duafa plenary through health programs spread across 11 regions, 61 healthy posts, and 7 healthy outlets throughout Indonesia, including Bogor Regency.

The Dompet Dhuafa health movement was founded to improve the health status of the duafa through the transformation of services that encourage healthy behaviours, social capital involvement, and the initiation of sustainable and measurable programs as a holistic model of the world health movement.
This award was given directly by the Acting Regent of Bogor, Iwan Setiawan to representatives of Dompet Dhuafa before the HKSN 2022 Commemoration Ceremony was completed.
On this occasion, Iwan Setiawan also reminded the importance of strengthening solidarity and cohesion to face various global threats and challenges such as recession, economy, inflation, geopolitics and others.

According to him, the Indonesian nation is currently facing many challenges, one of which is restoring the nation’s economy after the Covid-19 pandemic. Although Covid-19 cases have dropped, the economy has not fully recovered. For this reason, it is necessary to anticipate facing global threats.
“Through this activity, we anticipate social solidarity as our strength by glueing,” said Iwan.
Furthermore, Iwan Setiawan said that the momentum of HKSN is a spirit to jointly prevent and face socio-economic impacts because solidarity is the frontline in controlling the increasing rate of poverty and unemployment of the people of Bogor Regency.
“We would like to thank all stakeholders and the community who continue to struggle to overcome community problems from the economic downturn, which is now happening everywhere by inventorying which groups we should help and we encourage them to get out of extreme poverty,” said Iwan.
