JAKARTA — In an attempt to create wider social goodness, Dompet Dhuafa collaborates with the activities of the Kelas Humas Muda (KHM) Vol. 2 community which was held on 16 November 2024 at Lidah Lokal, Artotel Gelora Senayan, Jakarta. As a charity partner, Dompet Dhuafa also succeeded in the donation programme aimed at supporting honorary teachers in remote areas of Indonesia.
‘Through this synergy, KHM Vol. 2 is not only a place to share knowledge about communication and brand development, but also a platform to contribute directly to improving the quality of education throughout the country,’ said Dimas Muttakhin as Community Relation Specialist of Dompet Dhuafa.
Carrying the theme Good Story Good Brand, KHM Vol. 2 managed to attract attention and received appreciation from the Indonesian Ministry of Creative Economy for its contribution in advancing young Indonesian talents, especially in the field of communication. Dompet Dhuafa is here to support this agenda through an education programme that focuses on improving the welfare of honorary teachers, whose role is vital in the world of education, especially in remote areas.

‘By prioritising the elements of education, networking, entertainment, and charity, this event is the right platform for students and young professionals to hone their communication skills, especially in effective storytelling,’ said Deputy for Media Creativity Caretaker at the Indonesian Ministry of Creative Economy, Agustini Rahayu when opening the Kelas Humas Muda (KHM) Vol. 2.
In this enthusiastic event, KHM Vol. 2 participants participated in a donation programme organised by Dompet Dhuafa. Donations collected from the charity session will be used to support the education of honorary teachers in all corners of Indonesia, who often face major challenges related to welfare and educational facilities.
‘The Young PR Class workshop is a positive activity that has a huge impact on our work and daily lives. Not only that, but coupled with a direct contribution to honorary teachers or educators in remote areas of the country who are very meritorious for education in remote areas,’ Dimas explained.
Dompet Dhuafa, as a philanthropic institution that focuses on community empowerment and education, continues to be committed to improving the quality of life of the community, including educators who often receive less attention. With the support of KHM Vol. 2 participants, Dompet Dhuafa can more widely reach honorary teachers in various regions who need support to continue teaching and providing quality education to the nation’s children.
