Themed “Disaster-Responsive Santri (Trigana),” the event spanned three days, from the 20th to the 22nd of October 2023.

Muhammad Asyari noted that eTahfizh’s goal is to nurture 223 Trigana cadres from 40 pesantrens (Islamic boarding schools) across Indonesia. Additionally, he mentioned that 40 pesantren administrators would participate in a caretaking workshop and engage in social service activities aimed at supporting 100 residents in the PTGL vicinity.
“We aspire for the santri to excel not only in religious studies and Quran recitation but also to emerge as community leaders. They should be at the forefront of their communities, acting as pioneers of goodwill in all their endeavors. These roles of benevolence extend beyond the confines of the pesantren into all spheres of community life,” concluded Muhammad Asyari.
