DAVAO CITY, Philippines — On March 25, 2024, one of Dompet Dhuafa’s 2024 Dai Ambassadors, ustaz Surya Aripin, visited the Indonesian Consulate General in Davao City, Philippines. The visit was to stay in touch with the Chief Representative of the Indonesian Consulate General Davao City, Mr. Harya K. Sidharta. Accompanied by the chairman of DKM Al-Ikhlas, Mr. Irwan Jauhari, and Mr. Dinto, Surya Aripin entered the Indonesian Consulate General in Davao City to convey the purpose of his visit this Ramadan.
The meeting was held in the framework of the Dai Ambassador 2024 Program in collaboration with DKM Al-Ikhlas Consulate General in Davao City. Of course with the aim of filling religious activities during the month of Ramadan by providing enlightenment and enthusiasm to the community.
“We welcome this collaboration from Dompet Dhuafa. My message is that Dai Ambassadors can convey da’wah that provides exemplary and gentleness to the community,” said Harya K. Sidharta, on the occasion.
The activities of the Dai Ambassador 2024 Program are scheduled to take place from March 25 to April 15, 2024 at the Al-Ikhlas mosque. The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia Davao City highly appreciates the cooperation between Dompet Dhuafa and DKM Al-Ikhlas in an effort to strengthen the religious life of the community. This spirit of collaboration is believed to bring positive benefits to Muslims and the community at large. So that it continues to foster Islamic insight for the community in the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia Davao City, and Filipino Muslims in general.
Hopefully the presence of Dompet Dhuafa Ambassadors in Davao City, Philippines, especially around the Consulate General of Davao City can provide enlightenment and benefit the community.
