SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA — The Korea Islamic Cultural Center (KICC) in Seoul, South Korea, received a special visit from Ustaz Ihya Ulumudin, a Dai Ambassador Dompet Dhuafa 2024 from Purwakarta. This visit is an important momentum in strengthening relations between Indonesia and South Korea, and strengthening cooperation in the fields of education and religion.
Ustaz Ihya, who is a special envoy of Dompet Dhuafa, came to KICC with the aim of expanding networks and establishing cooperation between religious institutions of the two countries. This visit also aims to deepen the understanding of Islamic religious education in South Korea, especially in the madrasah environment.
The visit was not only an opportunity for the Dai Ambassadors to dialogue with Madrasa administrators and students, but also to share experiences and knowledge about Islam in Indonesia. Through the exchange of ideas and experiences, it is hoped that a deeper understanding of the diversity of Islamic culture and traditions in both countries will be created.

The presence of Dai Ambassadors at KICC Madrasa also provides a positive impetus for the development of Islamic religious education in South Korea, especially in South Korean madrasas. In addition, this visit is also a forum to strengthen the relationship between Muslim communities in Indonesia and South Korea. Good bilateral relations between countries are not only important in terms of politics and economics, but also in strengthening the existence and contribution of Muslims in the international world.
With the spirit of mutual respect and understanding, Dompet Dhuafa’s Dai Ambassador visit to Madrasa KICC is expected to be the first step in deepening cooperation between Indonesia and South Korea in the fields of education and religion. The closer relationship between religious institutions of the two countries will be a strong foundation for building peace and harmony among religious communities around the world.
