NORTH SUMATRA — Dompet Dhuafa North Sumatra Branch, commonly referred to as DD Waspada, in collaboration with UPT SD Negeri 066661 Medan Deli held a Humanitarian Fairy Tale activity on Wednesday (26/7/2023). This fairy tale activity is carried out to build humanity values to students, especially in terms of caring for others.
Acting as the storyteller, Kak Ardian joyfully told the fairy tales with the theme of “Sharing.” Together with his favorite doll named Jono, Kak Ardian told humanitarian stories in front of 400 students. This humanitarian fairy tale activity at UPT SDN 066661 received full support from the school and parents.
“This fairy tale activity is very extraordinary, yes. This is a positive activity that can make children happy to receive the message conveyed by the storyteller,” said Ernawati S.Pd as the Principal of UPT SDN 066661.

Ernawati and her fellow teachers admitted that they really enjoyed the fairy tales brought by Kak Ardian. In fact, according to her, the fairy tales delivered are good enough to be enjoyed by adults.
“Alhamdulillaah, we’re all happy, the children are happy. We hope this activity can have a positive impact on students,” she said.
Ernawati also hopes that in the future, similar fairy tales can be held again at her school. She believes that the next event will definitely be more lively, attended by students and guardians.
“Thanks to Dompet Dhuafa Waspada for being willing to provide a storyteller to our school, hopefully our cooperation will continue,” she said.
As a humanitarian fairy tale that teaches the value of kindness, after the fairy tale is held, students are asked to voluntarily make donations to be distributed by Dompet Dhuafa Waspada.
Appreciation for the holding of this fairy tale was also conveyed by the Branch Head of Dompet Dhuafa Waspada, Sulaiman. He said that the school had taken the right steps in building moral values. He also hopes that in the future, the cooperation between the two can continue.
