BEKASI, WEST JAVA — One of the leading e-commerce companies, Tokopedia, once again shared the blessings of Ramadan with Dompet Dhuafa. This time, Tokopedia and Dompet Dhuafa distributed 250 iftar food packages and 30 packages of worship tools to residents of a musala neighborhood in East Bekasi. This act of kindness was realized through a joint iftar event held at Musala Nurul Yaqin on Sunday (31/3/2024).
Abdul Rasyid (39), as a member of DKM Musala Nurul Yaqin, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the donors and organizers.
“We from the DKM say many thanks to Dompet Dhuafa, Tokopedia, and also the donors who have helped our community with iftar packages and also packages of worship tools in our musala,” he concluded.

Members of DKM Nurul Yaqin and Dompet Dhuafa personnel regularly distributed iftar packages to the residents. There are various groups who receive iftar packages. Among them are the elderly (elderly), dhuafa, orphans, and widows. The residents also looked excited to take part in the breakfasting activities with Dompet Dhuafa and Tokopedia. As conveyed by Sri Mulyani, a mother whose daily life is trading at Warteg.
“I am happy to participate in this event because it is good and beneficial for the people around this musala,” said Sri Mulyani.
Furthermore, the collaboration between Tokopedia and Dompet Dhuafa takes place through the donation service in the Tokopedia application. So, of course it will make it easier for application users to take part in the spread of kindness.
This collaboration is also part of Tokopedia and Dompet Dhuafa’s social care efforts for the surrounding area. The hope is that by providing iftar packages and worship tool packages to the community can help them break their fast, and also worship in the future.
“Hopefully events like this can continue and not stop here. This assistance is very useful, because the package of worship tools provided can later be used for Tarawih, or even Eid prayers,” said Muhammad Fachri as a representative of the Dompet Dhuafa Community Service Agency (LPM).
The residents really appreciated and also prayed for the donors of Dompet Dhuafa and Tokopedia who had provided iftar packages and worship equipment packages.
“We would like to thank Tokopedia and Dompet Dhuafa for their help. Insha Allah, I will use the prayer tools given for Tarawih prayers, and hopefully Tokopedia and Dompet Dhuafa will be better in the future, their steps will be blessed by Allah Swt,” said Abdul Hamid, one of the beneficiaries of the prayer tool package.
