SUBANG, WEST JAVA — A deadly accident befell dozens of students of SMK Lingga Kencana Depok, in Subang. The accident happened while they were on a study tour on Saturday (11/5/2024). The bus they were traveling on rolled over, leaving 32 people seriously injured and 11 dead. The incident took place on Jalan Raya Kampung, Ciater, Subang at 6:45 pm.
Immediately after receiving the sad news, the Dompet Dhuafa Corpse Review Section (BARZAH) sent two ambulance units to the location of the evacuation of the victims at the Subang Regional Hospital. According to the Dompet Dhuafa Community Service Agency (LPM) report, there was one body that was a Subang resident, one body had not been identified, and nine student bodies.

Dompet Dhuafa West Java’s Disaster Emergency Response Team (RDK), the local Health Office, and joint ambulance volunteers coordinated with the police about the transportation of the body.
The Dompet Dhuafa BARZAH team brought and escorted a corpse who was a student named Ade Nabila Angraini (20) to her residence in Limo District, Depok on Sunday (12/5/2024).
To Dompet Dhuafa, one of the families of the victims expressed their gratitude and thanks for the alert response of the Dompet Dhuafa Barzah Team.
“Thank you Dompet Dhuafa, now the deceased has reached her residence and has been buried,” he said.
It is known that the accident began when the Trans Putera Fajar Bus carrying students and teachers traveling on a downhill road suddenly swerved and hit a car from the opposite direction. The bus’s brakes malfunctioned, causing the vehicle to roll over and hit three motorcycles. It ended up hitting a pole on the shoulder of the road from Subang to Bandung.
