JAKARTA — As an effort to improve the quality of management and data confidentiality in the digital era, Dompet Dhuafa is committed to implementing ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 quality management. On Tuesday (15/8/2023), the staff and management of Dompet Dhuafa signed a joint commitment to the implementation of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2022 at the Philanthropy Building, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.
ISO 9001: 2015 becomes an international standard used to determine quality policies and objectives and their achievements that can be applied in the Dompet Dhuafa institution. This is Dompet Dhuafa’s effort in providing the best professional institutional management services for the people.
Meanwhile, ISO 27001: 2022 is used as an international standard for information security management systems or more commonly referred to as Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). This is Dompet Dhuafa’s commitment in carrying out confidentiality and security of digital data, especially the data of benefit recipients and data of muzakki.

Dompet Dhuafa realizes that the current era is the era of digital and technology, where all data information is digitized. In addition, digital data insecurity becomes a problem for everyone and it is increasingly difficult to contain. On this occasion, Chairman of the Dompet Dhuafa Foundation, Rahmat Riyadi said that the ISO implementation process in the Dompet Dhuafa environment was carried out to tidy up what was the responsibility of the institution’s management process. However, is Dompet Dhuafa managementally ready or does it have a device that is sufficient from the security process?
He then explained, in terms of knowledge and implementation of information technology, Dompet Dhuafa has been quite adequate. This institution has people who are experts in their fields, including those related to digital data and security. However, in terms of policy and management system, Dompet Dhuafa still continues to strive to secure all its data.
“So this ISO is indeed to help from planning to improving all Dompet Dhuafa management systems, especially in securing information and digital data owned,” he explained.

ISO 9001 certification has actually been obtained by Dompet Dhuafa in 2015. Until now, there is still no change. That means the indicators are still the same. However, Dompet Dhuafa realizes this still needs to be enhanced and improved. So this time, the ISO 9001 process will be further enhanced as a joint commitment. “So what we are now starting over is to reorganize what we have done,” he said.
The Dompet Dhuafa Management Team jointly committed to targeting that the ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 processes will be completed by the end of 2023. So that in the following year, the institution can run the system with the latest ISO.
Reusing ISO means that Dompet Dhuafa has a strong commitment to organizing good management as a community trust institution. Of course, during this time, there is still a lot that needs to be improved.
