Dompet Dhuafa Deploys BARZAH Ambulance to Respond to Cipularang KM 92 Toll Road Accident

Ambulans BARZAH Dompet Dhuafa menuju lokasi kecelakaan beruntun untuk mengevakuasi para korban.

WEST JAVA — On Monday (11/11/2024) afternoon, Dompet Dhuafa responded quickly to a successive accident that occurred on the Cipularang KM 92 toll road towards Jakarta at 15:40 WIB. Through the Body Recovery Team (BARZAH), Dompet Dhuafa deployed an ambulance unit to the scene of the accident.

“Responding to the incident this afternoon, the Barzah Team is heading to the location,” said Kamaludin, Head of the Dompet Dhuafa Community Service Agency (LPM), via text message, that afternoon.

It is known that this successive accident involved 19 vehicles. It is suspected that the cause of the accident was because one of the trucks carrying heavily loaded cardboard boxes had broken brakes. Thus, it hit the vehicle in front of it which resulted in a successive collision.

Quoting Kompas.com’s telewalk with AKBP Lalu Wira Sutriana, KASUBDIT GAKKUM Ditlantas Polda West Java, the temporary number of casualties is 1 person dead and 22 others injured. All victims of the accident were then rushed to Abdul Radzak Hospital, Purwakarta Regency.

Currently, Dompet Dhuafa together with the authorities are still evacuating victims of the accident at KM 92 Cipularang Toll Road. The impact of the successive accidents, prolonged congestion on a number of roads> Traffic jams snaked up to KM 120 Purbaleunyi, Bandung. As a result, traffic on the KM 92 Cipularang Toll Road towards Jakarta was closed, while the reverse lane was opened two lanes to be passed.
