He also reminded us that Ramadan is not only about enduring hunger and thirst, but also about increasing piety and social awareness.

Not only that, the festival was also enlivened with various useful activities, such as free health checks from Dompet Dhuafa’s Free Health Service (LKC). This service is in great demand by visitors, especially those who want to know their health condition before fasting. In addition, there are also Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) booths displaying a variety of quality local products, ranging from Ramadan specialties to creative handicrafts.

In addition to various social and educational activities, the festival was also enlivened by musical performances from a number of Indonesian musicians, such as Andity, Jigo Band, and Panji Sakti. Visitors enjoyed the music that added to the excitement of the event and strengthened togetherness ahead of Ramadan.

The most interesting part was at the end of the event, during Panji Sakti’s performance. Panji and Dompet Dhuafa invited visitors to enjoy music with the concept of a “Blind Concert”. In this session, all participants were asked to close their eyes and enjoy the music with full feeling, as well as reflect on all the goodness they have received from Almighty Allah.

Bela, a visitor from Wonosobo, also appreciated this event because it provided a different experience in welcoming Ramadan. “Usually Ramadan is synonymous with a very religious atmosphere, but in this event many young people participated and were able to experience Ramadan in a more fun way,” he said.
