CIANJUR, WEST JAVA — Dompet Dhuafa continues to strive to perpetuate the synergy of goodness, especially during Eid al-Adha 1444 H. Through the Sacrificial Animal Stocking OR Tebar Hewan Kurban (THK) program that has been running for 29 years, Dompet Dhuafa continues to uphold the spirit of sharing sacrificial meat to remote parts of the archipelago with a target of spreading to 29 provinces in 2023.
Through #SatuKurbanBanyakKebaikan campaign, Dompet Dhuafa also invites influencers or social media activists, bloggers, and media partners to explore the Sentra Ternak Dompet Dhuafa located in Cikondang Village, Cibeber District, Cianjur Regency on Monday (05/06/2023). The purpose of the visit to the Livestock Center itself is to socialize the Sacrificial Animal Stocking or Tebar Hewan Kurban (THK) program so that it can reach a wider community.
The series of activities took place, starting with sharing sessions about the history of Cianjur Livestock Village, there were also activities carried out to introduce influencers, bloggers, and media partners who were present regarding how the care and Quality Control (QC) of Dompet Dhuafa sacrificial animals at this Livestock Center. Start from shaving goat hair, cutting nails, bathing, and weighing their weight.

“The Livestock Center itself departs from the community and economic empowerment programs so that later it will also return to social which is utilized from Dompet Dhuafa zakat funds,” said Ayi Rahmat as the manager of the Cianjur Livestock Center.
The community empowerment program through Ziswaf funds must look at local potential and wisdom so that what is then newly developed can be right on target. The Livestock Center or also known as Kampung Ternak has been rolling since 2017 until now, and is being worked on by the surrounding community.
Who thought the empowerment that started from agriculture could then expand again into a Livestock Center which is now visited and spread many benefits to the people living around it.

On this occasion, Taufan Yusuf Nugroho was also present as Vice Chairman of THK Dompet Dhuafa 2023. He explained that “The purpose of this activity is actually to invite directly colleagues from influencers, bloggers, and media to see firsthand the Dompet Dhuafa livestock empowerment program, the essence of which at this moment is to see firsthand the readiness of these farmers to prepare their sacrificial animals at THK or Eid al-Adha,” he said.
Furthermore, Taufan also said that donors or sacrificers who distribute sacrifices through Dompet Dhuafa are based on trust. Therefore, Dompet Dhuafa maintains the trust of donors and sacrificers by distributing sacrificial animals to all corners of Indonesia.
“Well, on this occasion, we invite influencers, bloggers, and media if it is true that there is no empowerment in Dompet Dhuafa, one of which is in Cianjur. This is one of the THK series as well, yesterday a visit to the cage also took place in the Central Java region such as at DD Farm Kendal, “said Taufan.

“Very happy today to have the opportunity to join Dompet Dhuafa to visit the Livestock Village in Cianjur. Today is really exciting, I saw the goats continue to feed, shave the goat’s hair, bathe the goats until the last one weighed the goat’s weight which had never been done before,” said Nia.
After seeing a series of processes, he also said that” It turns out that the care of Sacrificial Animals in Dompet Dhuafa is very detailed. Starting from the feed is considered, the fur, health, even to the goat’s weight must also go through the Quality Control (QC) process, “said Nia.
