LAMPUNG — Dompet Dhuafa Lampung recently visited and held a meeting with the Sumatra Institute of Technology (ITERA) on Monday (5/2/2024). The meeting was warmly welcomed by ITERA’s Rector, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Pugeg Aryantha, in the Conference Room of Building A at the ITERA Campus, Jati Agung, South Lampung.
Also in attendance were ITERA’s Head of General and Academic Affairs, Sri Sulistiawati; ITERA Mosque Manager, Frijan Masai; and the Legal and Administrative Staff, Afrizal Vatikawa.

During the meeting, Yogi Achmad Fajar, the Branch Manager of Dompet Dhuafa Lampung, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the enduring and fruitful collaboration between the two entities that has persisted to this day. Yogi outlined the history of collaboration between ITERA and Dompet Dhuafa Lampung, which has been active since 2021.
“Alhamdulillah, since 2021, Dompet Dhuafa Lampung and ITERA have collaborated on various charitable activities. We hope this agenda will continue to foster and further strengthen our partnership for future goodness,” he stated.
Yogi also mentioned that Dompet Dhuafa Lampung is ready to support and enhance the implementation of ITERA’s Tri Dharma of Higher Education, which encompasses education and teaching, research and development, and community service.
I Nyoman Pugeg Aryantha highlighted the significance of collaborations between academic institutions and social organizations in promoting community welfare. Nyoman affirmed that ITERA is always prepared to work in synergy with Dompet Dhuafa Lampung for the betterment of humanity.
“We at the university are very open to collaboration, especially those that directly benefit our students and the local community. We are hopeful that all existing potentials can be harnessed through collaboration. Looking ahead, we anticipate that these partnerships will flourish and that we can contribute to the advancement of science and technology,” he remarked.
Dompet Dhuafa Lampung and ITERA have initiated various joint projects, including the organization of Qurban (Islamic sacrificial rituals), zakat collection, educational visits for orphans to the ITERA Botanical Garden, and the Grand Islamic Lecture during Ramadan.
