SERANG, BANTEN – Dompet Dhuafa Banten, through one of its flagship programs, Rumah Momong, continues its efforts to enhance the empowerment and capabilities of mothers for the benefit of their families and communities.
Rumah Momong is a program initiated by Dompet Dhuafa Banten that provides a space for mothers to receive comprehensive education regarding child care and family matters. This program operates in Sentul Village, Kragilan Subdistrict, Serang Regency.
On Thursday (19/10/2023), Dompet Dhuafa Banten, through Rumah Momong, aimed to provide educational support to mothers. In this session, a quiz was conducted on the topic of “Family Communication Techniques.” The quiz encompassed five main points: effectively delivering messages, expressing apologies, inviting agreements, making requests properly, and expressing appreciation.

More than 30 housewives from Kampung Sukajaya, Kragilan, Serang Banten, participated in this activity, which started at 1.00 PM and finished at 3.00 PM local time.
The quiz was organized by dividing the attending mothers into nine groups, each consisting of three members. The mothers were then tasked with answering the posed questions.
The purpose of this quiz was to reinforce the material previously presented to the mothers of Rumah Momong. Nurul Amanah, a facilitator of the Rumah Momong Program, commented that the participants displayed high enthusiasm during the activity.

“The mothers of Rumah Momong were very enthusiastic about participating in the quiz, which was presented in an engaging format,” Nurul noted.
The goal of this program is to enhance the understanding of effective communication within the family, thus contributing to the development of happy family units.
