In his presentation, Andriansyah explained about the Dompet Dhuafa Sacrificial Animal Stocking Program (THK) which has been echoing in the past two months. Tebar Hewan Kurban is a program of Dompet Dhuafa to help breeders, as well as help mustahiq to enjoy sacrificial meat. In addition, in order to provide equity in the distribution of sacrificial animals, so that the sacrifices do not accumulate in urban complexes only.
“According to the results of research by the Institute for Demographic and Poverty Studies (IDEAS), it turns out that there is a gap in the distribution of sacrificial animal meat that is still piling up in urban areas. Meanwhile, in remote areas of West Java, such as Cianjur Regency, Garut Regency, and other rural areas, there is still a deficit in sacrificial meat,” he said.
Furthermore, Andri explained that sacrificial animals in Dompet Dhuafa really go through a thorough Quality Control (QC) process, so it can be ascertained that sacrificial animals have met the requirements, both in accordance with Islamic law and Dompet Dhuafa standards.

“By buying sacrificial animals at Dompet Dhuafa, we have also empowered local breeders. This is a form of the management of ZISWAF funds (zakat, infaq, alms, and waqf) which are managed trustfully by Dompet Dhuafa,” he said.
This was also conveyed by Ricko Putra Ramli, an Influencer who became the speaker at this event. He shared his experience with Dompet Dhuafa when he helped distribute sacrificial meat to the Papua region.
“The first time I went to remote areas in Papua, but it was while sharing sacrificial meat. An unforgettable experience for me when I participated in distributing sacrificial meat with Dompet Dhuafa. They really ensure that sacrificial animals are slaughtered according to Sharia law and also distributed to remote residents in need,” he said.
The event was also enlivened by a series of Decoupage craft making workshops guided by Natura Craft. That way, in addition to providing education on values of sacrifice, Influencers who came could also get experiences and lessons. (Dompet Dhuafa/Jabar/AR)
