YOGYAKARTA — Present at the International Islamic Healthcare Conference & Expo (IHEX) 2022, Achmad Wardi Eye Hospital (RSAW) appeared as the first and only Waqf Eye Hospital in Indonesia that has been certified as a Sharia Hospital.
This year’s IHEX was held from Thursday to Sunday (3-6/11/2022), in Yogyakarta. Hundreds of Islamic health institutions from all over Indonesia participated in the Expo and brought international health topics in a series of conferences and seminars.
Carrying the theme “Revive the Sharia Health Ecosystem After the Pandemic”, IHEX 2022 also organized MUKISI Innovation, as an award for health institutions that are members of the All Indonesian Islamic Health Efforts Council (Mukisi) who have made innovations and breakthroughs in order to improve the quality of Islamic services.
dr. Moh Badrus Sholeh M.Kes, President Director of RSAW as well as the chairman of LAZ Mukisi in IHEX 2022 also had the opportunity to give a presentation on the Potential Power of ZISWAF in strengthening the Islamic health ecosystem.
“RSAW is one of the first waqf hospitals in Indonesia that is fully supported by the Indonesian Waqf Board (BWI) and Dompet Dhuafa with the aim of providing broad benefits, especially eye diseases. Therefore, I invite all stackholders who are here to contribute in acts of kindness,” he explained.
In addition, as a consistency of service to the community, RSAW provides eye examinations to IHEX 2022 visitors who need them. Apart from that, RSAW also routinely conducts social services in the form of eye examinations for the community, especially those in remote areas of Banten and surrounding areas.
