JAKARTA — On Friday of the first week of Ramadan 1445 H (15/3/2024), all Dompet Dhuafa People distributed 500 takjil as well as canvassing in front of the Philanthropy Building, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. The takjil was distributed to people passing by on Jalan Warung Jati Barat, Jati Padang.
The nuances of this long-awaited month were greeted enthusiastically by Dompet Dhuafa personnel and the passing public. Especially for Muslims who practice Ramadan fasting. That the month of Ramadan has come and the #RamadanMendekatkan moment is felt.
Not only this time, takjil distribution and canvassing actions are often and will continue to be held at public locations during peak traffic hours. This effort is a form of hope to be able to strengthen concern for the public as well.
‘This event is a series to enliven the month of Ramadan and provide information related to zakat and applications (Dompet Dhuafa)/DD Apps, through the distribution of takjil iftar to motorists passing in front of the Dompet Dhuafa office. We distributed 500 packages of takjil iftar on the first Friday of Ramadan this afternoon,’ said Taufan Yusuf Nugroho, Senior Officer Public Relations of Dompet Dhuafa.
For information, in Ramadan 1445 H this time, Dompet Dhuafa carries 11 excellent programmes to make others happy and empowered. The eleven programmes include Tebar Zakat Fitrah, Grebeg Kampung, Sharing Sahur and Iftar Packages, Mudik Post, Free Dhuafa Mudik, Ramadan Parcels, Borong Takjil, Quran Alms, THR Family Fighters, Ramadan in Palestine, and Muliakan Yatim. Through these programmes, in this blessed month, Dompet Dhuafa wants to invite all Muslims to collaborate in supporting good programmes.

Taufan, representing the Dompet Dhuafa family, also congratulated the fasting of Ramadan 1445 H. He emphasized that Dompet Dhuafa is very open to all forms of collaborative invitations of goodness. In accordance with the theme, this Ramadan is expected to be able to bring closer to the practice of goodness, bring closer togetherness, bring closer mustahik and muzaki, bring closer collaborator partners, and especially to get closer to the Divine.
