KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA — Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Malaysia is ready to support the da’wah gait of Dompet Dhuafa in Malaysia. This is a good step in the midst of the undocumented Indonesian Migrant Workers to Malaysia issue,” said Yoshi Iskandar, l Attaché of the Pensosbud of Indonesian Embassy in Malaysia
This was conveyed by Yoshi when he received a visit from Dompet Dhuafa at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia Office, Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur Fellowship Region, Malaysia, on Friday (10/14/2022). This gathering is a form of Dompet Dhuafa’s efforts as one of the largest Amil Zakat Institutions in Indonesia to expand benefits to the international arena.
Some of the programs discussed at the meeting were discourses for the construction of the Pusat Belajar Mengaji (PBM) in Malaysia and various other proselytizing programs. Later, these programs will target Indonesian citizens and the general public from other countries.
“This program is designed to accommodate the needs of Indonesian citizens in studying Islam and general learning, be it for children, adolescents, or adults. Hopefully, this program will be able to #JadiManfaat for those in need,” said Totok Hadi Fitoyo as Officer of Dakwah Internasional Dompet Dhuafa.
In a separate place, Ahmad Pranggono as Dompet Dhuafa’s Da’wah Service Manager stated, “This agenda is in the context of need assessment to respond to the needs of Indonesian citizens for the transformative proselytizing of Dompet Dhuafa in Malaysia. God willing, Dompet Dhuafa will synergize with several parties to run the program permanently and sustainably,” he explained.Furthermore, Ahmad Pranggono also explained Dompet Dhuafa’s work in building a proselytizing network to foreign countries. Various programs are already running temporally and will continue to be developed to expand the benefits presented.
“So far, Dompet Dhuafa has carried out proselytizing programs abroad temporally. In the future, Dompet Dhuafa plans to have permanent proselytizing centers abroad,” continued Ahmad Pranggono.
Dompet Dhuafa’s da’wah program is present starting from educating and preparing the dais, assigning them to preach as well as presenting other community empowerment programs in the placement of tasks. The outermost, remote, and border areas are the destinations of proselytizing from the dai-dai of Dompet Dhuafa. Then in foreign countries, areas of the country with minority Muslim populations did not escape the target of proselytizing. Of course, the goal is to become an oasis of Islamic ways of Rahmatan lil Alamin to all corners of the world. (Dompet Dhuafa/Totok Hadi / Arlen)
