LAMPUNG — As religious believers, especially Muslims, giving alms will certainly not reduce our wealth. Instead, Allah swt promises to reward it many times over. Especially during the month of Ramadan, which is full of glory and blessings. There are many ways to invite people to give alms. Dompet Dhuafa Lampung Branch together with Gramedia Mall Boemi Kedaton (MBK) Lampung tried to call people to give alms through a colouring competition with the theme ‘Happy Family Coloring’.
This colouring competition was held online and involved 1,074 participants from various regions. In every registration fee paid by the contestants, it includes the alms of the Qur’an worth Rp20 thousand which is channeled through Dompet Dhuafa for the people of Lampung. After this activity successfully took place, Dompet Dhuafa Lampung and Gramedia MBK Lampung managed to collect Al-Qur’an alms of Rp21,480,000 from all participants who took part in this competition.
Furthermore, the donation was handed over by Gramedia MBK Store Manager, Gilang Pratama Alise, to Dompet Dhuafa Lampung Branch Manager, Yogi Achmad Fajar at Gramedia MBK, on Saturday (30/3/2024).
