EAST JAVA — As part of efforts to get closer to the community, Hasyim Asy’ari Hospital (Rumah Sakit Hasyim Asy’ari (RSHA)) located on Cukir-Parkir Makam Gus Dur Street, Kwaron, Diwek, Jombang, held a blood donation for the surrounding community on Thursday (3/8/2023).
Head of Public Relations and Marketing of RSHA, Popin Rudiatin Meiningsih said this activity was carried out to meet the stock of blood bag for the Jombang area. The implementing party prepared an allocation target of 100 donors. Of that target, as many as 72 people were declared to have passed the screening and underwent the blood donation process.
“Alhamdulillah, we could absorb 72 donors from the target of 100 people. This activity collaborates with PMI Jombang to fulfill blood stocks in the Jombang area and its surroundings,” she said.

Donating blood has also carried out humanitarian activities, namely helping patients who need blood. Popin also emphasized that this activity can foster humanity and concern for the Jombang community for their brothers. In addition, the presence of RSHA is also a form of the usefulness of Islamic philanthropic funds.
“We hope blood donation (donor darah) activities in collaboration with PMI Jombang can foster concern and benefit for others. Likewise with the form of establishing Hasyim Asy’ari Hospital (RSHA) as an effort to build care, benefit and grow positive energy for the surrounding community, “added Popin.
Donors seemed to arrive one after another to draw blood. Comfortable facilities and always communicative employees make visitors feel comfortable and safe. One of the donors who also visited Hasyim Asya’ri Hospital said this.

“Hopefully, Hasyim Asy’ari Hospital can realize fair and equitable health services, especially for duafa patients.
