PRINGSEWU, LAMPUNG — 15 Healthy Child Nutrition Packages (Paket Gizi Anak Sehat) for stunted children aged 2-4 years were successfully delivered to the Pekon Bumiratu area, Pagelaran District, Pringsewu Regency, on Friday (14/10/2022) by Dompet Dhuafa Lampung.
Accompanied by Poskesdes (Villages Health Centre) cadres, who routinely provide parental assistance and parenting to reduce stunting rates in the region, Dompet Dhuafa Lampung handed over nutritional packages in the form of 750 gr of milk, 1 (one) kilogram egg, 2 (two) packs of biscuits, 1 (one) pcs of peanut butter, fish balls and 1 (one) kilogram of fruit for each beneficiary.
Melly Yulianti (30), Azka Al-Fatih’s parent (4), expressed her gratitude for the healthy child nutrition package Aid. “Hopefully, this aid package can help my son’s growth and development like a normal child,” she said. Ozy, the local village midwife in that location, expressed her gratitude and hope, “Thank you very much for the attention of Dompet Dhuafa Lampung to our residents. Hopefully, in the future, we can work together again to overcome this stunting issue,” she said.
Yogi Achmad Fajar, Head of Dompet Dhuafa Lampung, said that this program is one of Dompet Dhuafa Lampung’s concern programs regarding stunting issues in Lampung Province. “In the future, we will not only have a Caritas program, but also we plan to present a program with assistance to mothers. It immediately provides socialization and education,” said Yogi.
