DEPOK, WEST JAVA – The Misbahussudur Foundation made a donation to Palestine through Dompet Dhuafa on Friday (4/11/2023). This donation was collected from the students, parents, and teachers of the Misbahussudur Foundation.
The donation ceremony for Palestine was held at the Misbahussudur Foundation in Jatimulya, Depok, as part of a fundraising campaign for Palestine. The fundraiser aimed to support the people of Palestine and served as a manifestation of solidarity among all of humanity. In addition to fundraising, the students received reinforcement of values of care to cultivate a sense of sympathy, guided by Ustaz Azam, one of Dompet Dhuafa’s preachers.
Supangat, the Director of the Misbahussudur Foundation, expressed enthusiasm and gratitude for their collaboration with Dompet Dhuafa.

“Today we feel very grateful. This special day signifies our collaboration with Dompet Dhuafa, a dream for many parents and teachers. We recognize that Dompet Dhuafa is deeply committed to the cause of Palestine. Although the donation may not be as substantial as expected, it signifies the beginning of a partnership between Misbahussudur and Dompet Dhuafa,” Supangat stated.
Moreover, the Misbahussudur Foundation hopes this initiative will foster a sense of humanity and care among the students.
“The key goal is to educate the children about caring for others, a fundamental principle in teaching empathy not only towards Muslims but to all humanity. This is our expectation. Dompet Dhuafa has successfully promoted this care, and we aim to encourage them to instill these values in our children and everyone at our school,” Supangat added.

Yudha Andilla, the Retail Fundraising Manager of Dompet Dhuafa, warmly welcomed the collaboration, expressing gratitude for the trust shown by the community, especially by the Misbahussudur Foundation.
“We are grateful to the Misbahussudur Foundation and hope that this collaboration is just the beginning. We aspire to foster a long-lasting relationship. We sincerely thank you for warmly welcoming Dompet Dhuafa. God willing, the teachers here will be empowered to nurture children who are not only academically knowledgeable but also skilled in sympathy and empathy,” Yudha remarked.
Dompet Dhuafa remains committed to fulfilling the trust placed in them by the people. Supangat further expressed gratitude for having a credible institution like Dompet Dhuafa in Indonesia.
