Igniting the Spirit of Ramadan, Dompet Dhuafa Distributes Imsakiyah Schedule on the Streets

JAKARTA — On Friday (17/03/2023), Dompet Dhuafa held one of the series of Pre-Canvassing Ramadan 1444 H, which took place in front of Gedung Philantrophy, South Jakarta, namely distributing the imsakiyah schedule. This activity became one of a series of Berasa Sudah Ramadan (Feel Like Ramadan Already) campaigns to remind the Muslims, so that the excitement of Ramadan is more felt.

Suci Nuzleni Qadarsih as Committee Chairman of Ramadan 1444 H said that this event was one of Dompet Dhuafa’s efforts to welcome the full-of-blessings month.

“Today is five days before Ramadan and Ramadan is approaching, because tomorrow is the weekend, we Dompet Dhuafa want to do the welcoming Ramadan,” she said.

Through the stretch of the banner, Dompet Dhuafa conveyed the message “Fill the Emptiness of the Heart with Kindness.”

The distribution of the Imsakiyah schedule had been carried out since 05.00 PM WIB to a few minutes before the Maghrib prayer call. This adapted to the crowd of Pasar Minggu streets, especially during rush hours. Also present to enliven the Pre-Canvassing activity, that was the performance of Rampak Bedug. This art performance was generally intended to welcome the month of Ramadan and also Eid al-Fitr. The appearance of Rampak Bedug also managed to invite the attention and enthusiasm of the society.

“We also perform Rampak Bedug in this afternoon’s activity, so that it Feels Like Ramadan Already. Alhamdulillah, the enthusiasm of the society can be seen, because they are also looking for the Imsakiyah schedule, considering that Ramadan is five days away and they can save the schedule,” added Suci.

Suci also said that the Imsakiyah schedule sheet distributed can also become some information of kindness, especially for those who want to give alms.
