The Israel-Palestine conflict has spanned several decades, with ten thousands of Palestinian casualties reported from the conflict’s inception to the present. However, the conflict that erupted on October 7 has been the most severe, with casualties exceeding ten thousand people within just a month. This surge in casualties is attributed to relentless Israeli bombings targeting civilian homes, essential facilities like hospitals, and refugee camps. A significant number of the victims are children and women, and the toll of dead and injured continues to rise.
The Israel-Palestine Conflict Is Not a Religious Conflict
The Israel-Palestine conflict is not related to religion. The massacres carried out by Israel against the Palestinian people since the beginning are colonial conflicts. The colonialism initiated by Israel began with the Balfour Declaration in 1917 by Britain, which expressed support for the establishment of a national home for the Jewish people in Palestine. This led to a massive migration of Jews from Europe to Palestine, facilitated by Britain, resulting in numerous lands owned by the local population being claimed by Britain to be given to Jewish settlers.
Concerned by the significant demographic changes, the local population eventually rebelled. Supported by the Arab National Committee, the Palestinian people boycotted Jewish products and withheld tax payments as a means to reject Britain’s actions of taking and handing over their land to Jewish settlers.
This strike lasted for about six months, infuriating Britain, which then responded brutally. Britain deployed its troops to conduct arrests and destroy the homes of the local population. This practice is one that Israel continues to apply to this day, forcibly seizing Palestinian land with the help of British weaponry and military.
The conflict that re-erupted about a month ago has become the worst in history. Within a month, the death toll has exceeded 10,000 lives, nearly half of whom were children. Additionally, essential facilities like hospitals were bombed, making it difficult for the injured to receive treatment. On the other hand, aid from various countries has been obstructed. This constitutes a severe humanitarian crisis.

Israel Attacks Civilians
Israel’s justification remains the same, claiming that Hamas is hiding and using civilians as shields. However, its attacks are indiscriminate and regard Palestinian civilians merely as ‘collateral damage’, despite Israel violating international law.
List of Zionist Violations in the Israel-Palestine Conflict
According to the official website of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, here are some international laws violated by Israel:
- Humanity: Non-combatants and those not bearing arms must be kept as far away from the battlefield as possible, and efforts must be made to minimize casualties.
- Military Necessity: Only military objectives can be targeted in warfare.
- Proportionality: Every attack in military operations must be preceded by measures to ensure the attack will not cause excessive casualties and damage.
- Distinction: There must be a distinction between combatants and civilians in armed conflict.
- Limitation: Bans on causing undue suffering relate to the methods and means of warfare, such as the prohibition of poison, dum-dum bullets, biological weapons, etc.
Israel also deliberately bombs mosques, schools, refugee camps, and hospitals under the same pretext: that Hamas forces are hiding in these places. In some circulated video clips, Israeli soldiers are seen deliberately shooting at civilians, including children and women, directly.

Israel Pays Influencers
The information war concerning the facts of Israel’s attacks on Palestine continues to be shared, showcasing the brutality inflicted by Israel on Palestinian citizens. In response, Israel has adopted various tactics, including spreading false information and even paying numerous influencers to defend Israel’s actions.
Various fabricated videos have been created with narratives that Hamas brutally attacks Israeli citizens, with some pretending to be doctors in a hospital in Gaza besieged by Hamas. Additionally, numerous videos mock the Palestinian people and their supporters.
Meta Supports Israel
Mark Zuckerberg, the owner of social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, has finally shown his support for Israel. Quoting from the official NDTV WORD page, he stated in his Instagram Story:
“The terrorist attacks carried out by Hamas are truly evil. There is never any justification for terrorism against innocent people.”
He added, “The widespread suffering it causes is truly heartbreaking. My focus remains on the safety of our employees and their families in Israel and the region.”
In response to his post, the official X Israel account expressed gratitude on Saturday by sharing a screenshot of his message.

Meta’s support for Israel also involves suspending or deleting accounts that post news about Israel’s atrocities against the Palestinian people in Gaza. Numerous accounts have been suspended or even deleted by Meta. However, this has not stopped supporters of Palestine. Thousands of accounts continue to emerge, supporting and spreading information about Gaza.

Indonesian Hospital Accused of Sheltering Hamas Forces
Israel attacked the Indonesian Hospital with missiles, causing casualties among refugees in the vicinity. The Indonesian Hospital itself also suffered some damage, although its structure remained intact. As a result of this attack, the Indonesian Hospital faced a fuel shortage for operating its medical facilities and was at risk of ceasing operations.
Israel justified the attack by claiming that the Indonesian Hospital was a hiding place and protection for Hamas forces. They alleged that there was a tunnel entrance used by Hamas forces inside the hospital. In reality, no such tunnel entrances exist, and not a single Hamas force was hiding in the Indonesian Hospital.
