East Java – To improve public health, the Free Health Service (LKC) of Dompet Dhuafa East Java held a health check-up in the LKC-DD East Java fostered a healthy area program area. This activity took place in Rejomulyo, Magetan, East Java, on Monday (9/1/2023).
In collaboration with the village and puskesmas (COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTERS), this activity provided health services to 128 residents, including 79 elderly residents. The examinations include blood pressure, blood sugar, and supplementary feeding.
“Residents welcomed this activity. It was proven that residents arrived on time, at 7 o’clock, to participate in the activity and from the data collection, the number of beneficiaries continued to grow,” said Dara Aprilia, the Person in Charge of the Healthy Area Program.
Furthermore, Dara explained that from the results of the examinations that have been carried out, it turns out that many residents have high blood pressure test results and high blood sugar results.
“From the interview results, when examined earlier, it turns out that most of those who participated in this activity were people with hypertension and diabetes and also had families who did have a history of diabetes,” said Dara.
This free medical check-up activity that was held is something that residents are waiting for; no doubt, many residents feel grateful for the holding of activities in the healthy area program. (Dompet Dhuafa/Jatim)
