JAKARTA — Ayu Ginarani, Owner of Hana Aisha—a local Muslim fashion brand—felt compelled to act after witnessing various incidents in Palestine. Filled with deep emotion and contemplation, she wondered what she could do for Palestine. This led Ayu Ginarani to decisively take real action and show her support by re-releasing the “Palestine Scarf.”
Yes, Hana Aisha launched their latest fashion product, the “Palestine Scarf,” as a symbol of solidarity for Palestine. They have also reopened pre-orders for the “Palestine Scarf.” Previously, Hana Aisha had released the Palestine Scarf back in 2021.
“I want to help Palestine achieve independence, and Hana Aisha is the easiest and strongest medium I have to maximize my support. Fortunately, I own a modest fashion brand with a substantial customer base. So, I thought, why not utilize it,” said Gina.

More than just a fashion product, the sales of this hijab will be donated to support humanitarian actions in Palestine. One hundred percent of the profits from each scarf sale will be donated as a gift full of love and hope to support the Palestinian community through the “Emergency Response for Palestine” program on Monday (6/11/2023).
To strengthen this initiative, Hana Aisha collaborated with Dompet Dhuafa for the first time as a partner in this charitable collaboration. This positive synergy presents a fundraising program for the people in Palestine through the sales of the “Palestine Scarf.”
The “Palestine Scarf” is currently available in size 120×120 cm priced at IDR 200,000. In this program, customers can own their scarf while making a donation. This year’s pre-order for the “Palestine Scarf” introduces two new color variants in addition to white, namely soft mauve pink and greenish blue jeans, while retaining the Palestinian character.
“The strength of the Hana Aisha brand lies in the original motifs from watercolor paintings, which are my own paintings. From these motifs, we can tell stories, including narrating about Palestine. Our design features a keffiyeh fabric theme with geometric olive leaf motifs, fishnets, and bold lines. We also included paintings of Palestine’s national flowers, the Poppy and Iris, and The Iconic Dome of the Rock,” she added.
Hana Aisha also allows customers who wish to pay more than the price, which will still be accounted for as a donation. Alhamdulillah, a total donation of IDR 11,110,000 has been collected and distributed through Dompet Dhuafa.
The donation was distributed in the form of food aid packages and other urgent needs, such as medicines and clean water. Gina also requested that toys and children’s books be purchased to entertain the children, as she is concerned about the impact of the attacks on children.

“The Palestine Scarf we created is a fashion statement that we stand for Palestine. We can wear the scarf anywhere and talk about what we believe in and fight for, which is the independence of Palestine,” added Gina.
Of course, for Dompet Dhuafa, the door to opportunities for kindness is wide open, and they welcome collaboration with partners or donors to continue making a positive impact for Palestine.
“Dompet Dhuafa would like to thank Hana Aisha as one of the first brands to initiate this campaign of kindness. Hopefully, this is not the end but the beginning of other collaborations for good. May blessings and success always be with Hana Aisha,” expressed Achmad Faqih Syarafaddin, General Manager of ZIS Fundraising at Dompet Dhuafa. (Dompet Dhuafa/Anndini)
