In addition, Rebach International Project Manager M. Iqbal Adriansyah added, this program is for alumni from the Institut Kemandirian who have been practicing for a long time. The hope is that this program can create new entrepreneurs who can later strengthen the beneficiaries, especially from an economic point of view.
Head of the Business Incubator Umar Usman Rendika Rezky also added that the Business Incubation program is in line with the government’s priority programs through the Ministry of Cooperatives and National SMEs. The Business Incubation program is one of the programs that will help increase the ratio of entrepreneurship in Indonesia.
“Where currently the ratio of entrepreneurship in Indonesia is still relatively low at 3.74%. The entrepreneurship ratio is still low compared to neighboring countries such as Vietnam 5%, Malaysia 4%, and Singapore 9%. Ideally, a country has an entrepreneurial ratio of 5% so that it can be said to be a developed country,” he explained.
Finally, Rendika said, this collaboration can be an inspiration and motivation for other parties to contribute together in supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Indonesia so that it is increasingly advanced and developed.
“Until now, MSMEs are still the highest contributor to GDP (Gross Domestic Product) for Indonesia, which is 61.4%. For this reason, let’s move together and contribute to growing entrepreneurship in Indonesia for the sake of an advanced Indonesia,” he concluded. (Dompet Dhuafa / IK )
