Invite travelers in Rest Area to Care for Ngaji Teachers in Remote Areas

Berbagi Takjil di Rest Area KM 166A

MAJALENGKA, WEST JAVA — As the month of Ramadan 1445 AH draws to a close, Indonesians are getting busier and busier to do more acts of worship to maximize the last days of Ramadan. There are also some Indonesians who have started going to their hometowns or commonly known as mudik. Moreover, it coincides with the national holiday of Lebaran. Participating in the homecoming interest and blessings, Thursday (5/4/2024), Dompet Dhuafa together with PT Wirani Sons held a takjil sharing activity for travelers, as well as inviting travelers to help Quran teachers who are in remote areas of the country. The action took place at KM 166A Cipali Rest Area.

The travelers were seen resting on their way to their hometowns. Some were praying, sleeping, and eating food (not fasting because they were traveling). In the midst of that busyness, the Dompet Dhuafa Team Prepared to carry out free takjil sharing activities. This activity took place on the terrace of the Bank Syariah Cipali (BSI) Mosque in the rest area. A total of 150 takjil packages were distributed free of charge to travelers who were resting in the courtyard of the mosque.

“May you always be blessed, sir,” said one of the travelers when receiving the takjil package distributed by the Dompet Dhuafa Team.
