JAKARTA – The Jakarta Humanity Festival (Jakhumfest) 2023 will last for 2 (two) days, on Saturday – Sunday (January 28 – 29), at Posbloc, Filatelli, Jakarta. During these 2 days, Jakhumfest spoiled visitors’ eyes with a photography exhibition with the theme “Localheroes: It’s About Us”.
Through the Jakhumfest 2023 event this time, Dompet Dhuafa invites millennials to care about humanitarian issues. Another series of events is Humanitalk, Workshop, Bazaar of Memories, and ends with a Sound of Humanity concert.
“We believe there are many stories around us. Happy, laughing, and also proud. Even tiredness, trouble, and guilt. We may be going through this together. Or, we are not looking at what should be seen,” said Dandy e Fathoni, chairman of Jakhumfest.
With this photo exhibition, Dompet Dhuafa also invites visitors to see the captures of Dompet Dhuafa’s humanitarian photographers from various perspectives. Among them are Riza Muthohar, Arifian Fajar, Aryo Prasojo, Ronggo Wirasanu, Taufan YN, Ayu Nadia, Irawan, Harlan, Elmira, and Dhika Prabowo.
“We show touching pictures, They (visitors) come from different regions. Their response, these photos are meaningful. We hope that through these photos, people can increase their passion for humanesia momentum for them and all of us,” explained Dhika Prabowo.
Jakhumfest #IniTentangKita comes with a variety of differences in one equation. With efforts and trust, the humanitarian support of the community also strengthens each other. The dedication of concern that Dompet Dhuafa summarized in the momentum of the Humamice campaign, so that optimism ignites which opens 2023.
“We are also convinced the more we help others, the more we realize, how much we are helping ourselves. Perhaps, something we are looking for in this life journey exists close to us. It’s not about how far that goes,” Dandy added.
Meanwhile, on January 29, 2023, the Jakhumfest event will be attended by several Dompet Dhuafa boards of directors and representatives from Pos Bloc. There were also performances by musicians such as Mocca, Marginal, Chiki Fawzi, to The Rain. In addition, there were performances by several Indonesian Comedians through standup comedy, such as Budi (Suci X), Dwi (Suci X), Kukuh (Suci X), Irfan (Suci X) with MC (Ilham Setiadi and Syukron Jamal), followed by performances from the Finalists of the Schoolunteer Contest Dompet Dhuafa Volunteer (DDV).
