BANGGAI, SULTENG — Central Sulawesi oil and gas exploration producer, JOB Tomori and Inspirasi Melintas Zaman (IMZ) Dompet Dhuafa opened the Sumber Harapan BUMDES Outlet, on Saturday (28/1/2023). This business outlet is located at outlet RT 02 Dusun 02, Sumber Harjo Village, Moilong District, Banggai Regency. Various representatives of community leaders attended the inauguration ceremony, including the Moilong Sub-District, Toili Police Chief – Moilong, Danramil 1308-03, BPP Coordinator of Moilong District and Chairman of the Sumber Tani Lestari Group, and representatives of Comdev JOB Tomori.
BUMDES Sumber Harapan is a village business institution operated by the community and the Sumber Harjo Village administration to enhance the village economy based on the village’s needs and capabilities. BUMDES Sumber Harapan will also be a significant economic driver in Sumberharjo Village, Moilong District, Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi.
“We are grateful that the Village Empowerment School exists to improve the performance of BUMDES management. With the advent of this Sumber Harapan BUMDES Outlet, the BUMDES that existed yesterday must now be even better. We also have the campaign to expand the location or land of organic rice farmers for them to raise the amount of organic rice production, “said Sumberharjo Village Head Baron Hermanto, who will also go to perform Umrah when the outlet opens.
JOB Tomori, in collaboration with IMZ Dompet Dhuafa, organized Village Empowerment Schools in Sumberharjo Village, Moilong District, and Bonebalantak Village, South Batui District through this BUMDES to maximize village potential and form organizations capable of driving the village economy. SPD JOB Tomori has been operating since February 2022, with institutional support and marketing preparation continuing for a year.
Prasetyo Wibowo, Local Empowerment School Supervisor and IMZ Dompet Dhuafa Training and Business Development Manager, stated that the Sumber Harapan BUMDES Outlet would be able to serve as a showcase or showroom for many existing village outstanding items. As a result, marketing strategies and marketplaces for organic rice will emerge more quickly. It not only develops trust in the buyer’s market, but it also increases faith in the farmers who produce organic rice.

The Sumber Harapan BUMDES Outlets sell Tomorice organic rice produced by the Sumber Tani Lestari Group, cocopeat produced by Karang Taruna and the Sumberharjo Village Waste Bank, jipang snacks and banana chip snacks to rempeyek various flavors produced by Arsyila Chips Bonebalantak Village, and other products. The sales and marketing team, as well as the social media team, empower young village youngsters to penetrate the digital market.
