JAKARTA — Dompet Dhuafa’s Corporate Secretary and Human Capital & Knowledge Management Division held journalistic and public relations training for Dompet Dhuafa. reporters. This training lasts for 2 (two) days on Monday-Tuesday (5-6/12/2022) at the Philanthropy Building, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.

This training involved 15 participants from across divisions and organs of Dompet Dhuafa., who often intersected with public communication. Among them are Public Relations, Data Centers, Disaster Management Center (DMC), Lembaga Pelayan Masyarakat (LPM), and Layanan Kesehatan Cuma-cuma (LKC). Meanwhile, the filler of the material is the Lembaga Pendidikan Antara (LPA) as a training unit for the Perum Lembaga Kantor Berita Nasional (LKBN) ANTARA.

GM Corporate Secretary Dian Mulyadi at the opening of the training, said that the purpose of Dompet Dhuafa to hold this training was to increase journalistic capacity in Dompet Dhuafa as it has been upheld, namely prophetic journalism, or prophetic journalism.

“The goal is to be prophetic journalism, that is, prophetic journalism. Where we understand prophetic journalism is that there are 4 things (from) the qualities of the prophet that flow into the value of all friends,” he said.

Dian Mulyadi gave a speech at the opening of the training.

Among the prophetic qualities are siddiq and amanah, which is always honest and trustworthy for the people in every delivery of information. Of course, the next trait is tabligh. Because the journalist’s job is to convey a good thing. Then, Dompet Dhuafa reporters must also be smart (fathonah) and qualified in every information conveyed.

Dian added that in the last two weeks, most of these 15 participants had been assigned to the earthquake site in Cianjur. The information has been processed into good things for the institution and the community. It is because Dompet Dhuafa is a humanitarian institution, not only as a zakat and waqf nazir institution.

He also hopes that, after attending this training, Dompet Dhuafa humanitarian workers, especially those in charge of reporting, can present information enjoyed by the public as a balanced source of news.

In addition, Widodo as SO Knowledge Management said, HCKM is trying to make this training a learning space for Dompet Dhuafa people. According to him, 2 (two) days is a very short time. But he hopes that this can be a stimulus for the participants to continue learning.

Dompet Dhuafa gave souvenirs as a gratitude to Antara.

In principle, there is one thing that KCKM wants to know about the success of this learning process. That is not just focusing on training, then doing activities according to what directions are conveyed by the speaker, but much more than that. There are at least 3 (three) things that will be HCKM’s control over the success of this training.

“There are 3 things that will be the control of the success of this training,” he said.

The first is the increase in behavior that will appear after training. This increase can be seen from the differences in managing each person’s work.

In the second, at least the participants will have a symbol, that is, something visible. For example, the thing that previously looked “A” will be the appearance of “A” with other ornaments.

Third, HCKM hopes there will be a system related to coordinating, coordinating, and coordinating what is done in their respective workspaces. (Dompet Dhuafa / Muthohar)
