PANDEGLANG, BANTEN – Dompet Dhuafa through #MilenialBangunSekolah (Millennials build schools) distributed school kit packages for students and assistance for teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Bina Ihsani (Bina Ihsani Islamic Elementary School), Kp. Kemancing, Panimbang, Pandeglang, Banten, on Wednesday (12/14/2022).
A total of 20 students received school kit packages in the form of stationery, books, backpacks, shoes, and masks which were the result of collaboration from thousands of Dompet Dhuafa donors. Even though there was a distance to go, the students of MI Bina Ihsani were still enthusiastic about gaining knowledge.
An unusual thing seen in MI Bina Ihsani is when students generally wear shoes when they leave for studying, unlike the students in this school, they neither wear shoes nor footwears when they are at school, it is caused by insufficient economic factors.
“So far, children have been going to school by wearing sandals,” said Mad Hari, head of MI Bina Ihsan when being interviewed.
A smile was shown on their faces, after receiving the school kit packages. One of the beneficiaries was Dika (9) a 2nd grader at MI Bina Ihsani, he was very enthusiastic and was eager to try on the shoes so that they could be worn to school immediately.
“It’s nice to get shoes, I want to wear them to school,” said Dika happily.

The school kit packages for students and assistance for teachers were given symbolically by Rifqi Hattan as a representative Pengembangan Layanan Pendidikan Dompet Dhuafa (Dompet Dhuafa Education Service Development).
“Alhamdulillah, we got the entrustment from the donors, to distribute some sustenance to the children here,” said Rifqi.
During the visit, Dompet Dhuafa’s Service Development team interacted with the students who were present. Rifqi asked about the feelings of the students of MI Bina Ihsani at the moment.
When asked about the courage of learning, the students simultaneously replied “enthusiastic!”.
Despite the economic limitations, the courage of the nation’s successors students did not simply perish. All existing limitations were still lived with gratitude.
