BOGOR, WEST JAVA — Dompet Dhuafa through DD Volunteer (DDV) organized Gerakan Muliakan Yatim Nusantara (Glorify Orphans of Archipelago Movement) at Muharram 1445 H throughout Indonesia. This time, the movement was held and opened in the momentum of an activity entitled “Little Explorer: Explore the Culture of Archipelago” with 200 orphans at Jungleland Adventure Theme Park Bogor, Saturday (12/8/2023).
National DDV Coordinator and Chairman of the Muliakan Yatim Nusantara Movement, Fajar Firmansyah said that this movement was carried out in parallel by DDV volunteers throughout Indonesia, involving thousands of orphans as benefit recipients.
“The total benefit recipients of Little Explorer 2023 are currently 1,035 orphans from the target of 2,000 people throughout Indonesia. Little Explorer is part of the variety of Muliakan Yatim Nusantara movement which this time has the theme of Explore the Culture of Archipelago. With the intention that children still remember traditional Indonesian culture and games,” said Fajar.
“Starting Little Explorer 2023 at Jungleland Adventure Theme Park Bogor, there are 200 orphans involved. Of course, this activity also becomes a momentum for the children, the benefit recipients, along with volunteers, donors, amil Dompet Dhuafa, to meet in an exciting activity,” he continued.
DDV believes that this variety of activities can open horizons, provide new experiences, as well as increase self-confidence. In addition, activities in Jungleland Bogor will become a reward that can increase the enthusiasm and happiness of the children, the benefit recipients.
“This (inviting orphans to Jungleland Bogor) is a reward for them to increase their enthusiasm. Then build the children’s creativity, and introduce Indonesian culture through traditional games and folk songs,” Fajar added.

Opening the Little Explorer 2023 activity at Jungleland Bogor, GM of Communication & Strategic Alliance of Dompet Dhuafa, Haryo Mojopahit, in his speech told a folklore about the story of “Timun Mas” who faced various challenges.
“Be certain that we can maximize our talents and all our potential. Even as children, we grow up without the assistance of adults, like the story of “Timun Mas” who faced various challenges. Today’s variety of activities is the same, playing while completing challenges of kindness. Have fun,” he said.
In the Muliakan Yatim Nusantara movement, Dompet Dhuafa also distributed Gifts for Orphans of Archipelago as many as 745 packages of school supplies, 100 packages of Saku Sabang Merauke, and long-term education scholarships. Not only that, in the Little Explorer activity in Jungleland Bogor, DDV also formed a Green Warrior Team to manage waste from Little Explorer activities.

Friska (9), one of the Little Explorer 2023 participants from Depok revealed, “Today is really exciting to ride the Bump Car, Ontang-Anting, and others, I’m just really happy!”
