PAYAKUMBUH, WEST SUMATRA — Amidst a gentle drizzle in Payakumbuh’s solitary pine forest, hundreds listened intently to Panji Sakti’s poetry musicalization on Sunday night (24/12/2023). His song “Kepada Noor” brought the Sound of Humanity (SOH) Dompet Dhuafa X Sitapa Fest to a poignant close.
The Bandung-based musician expressed his concern for Palestine, lamenting the ongoing genocide against its people.

“Their plight opens our hearts. It should remind us of how Allah touches our faith through their steadfastness,” Panji Sakti remarked during his performance.
“Let’s spare a moment to pray for them, to wake in the night and reflect. Let’s fight with whatever we have,” he urged.
The audience had previously enjoyed diverse performances by Chiki Fawzi, Icod Goblin, Jhon Selon, Sabai Nan Aluih, Engku Syntal, Adim, and a cabaret drama by Gina Gigiah. In a discussion session, Dompet Dhuafa introduced DD Apps, a digital application designed to ease community donations and spread goodwill.
