PBM Malaysia Also Holds Action to Defend Palestine

PBM Dompet Dhuafa Malaysia Turut Gelar Aksi Bela Palestina

MALAYSIA – Concurrent with the Solidarity Action for Palestine in front of the UN Building in Indonesia on Friday (20/10/2023), the Overseas Quran Learning Center (Pusat Belajar Mengaji – PBM) of Dompet Dhuafa located in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, also held a similar event. The event, attended by about 40 undocumented children under the care of PBM LN Kepong, involved drawing and coloring the flag and symbols of the Palestinian state.

The leader of PBM LN Kepong Malaysia, Ustaz Rasuli, stated that this action aimed to inspire and cultivate the children’s concern for their brothers and sisters oppressed by Zionists. As reported by various media, numerous Zionist crimes against the Palestinian people have impacted children of their age.

“This is a sign of our support for Palestine. The country must be independent, and we must also provide information and understanding to children so that their love for their brothers and sisters in Palestine does not fade,” he asserted firmly.

In a separate location, Totok Hadi, Manager of the International Da’wah Programs of Dompet Dhuafa, mentioned that concern for Palestine should be pursued vigorously and collectively. Dompet Dhuafa will always instill a sense of humanity in children from an early age, including those undocumented but with extraordinary spirit.

“The concern for Palestine must be promoted together. These less fortunate children, despite being undocumented, have an extraordinary spirit,” said Totok.

Dompet Dhuafa, through all its branches and organs, both domestically and internationally, will continue to voice calls for concern based on humanity. This humanitarian concern can at least be manifested through prayers for the oppressed brothers and sisters, including those currently in the land of Sham (Syria). (Dompet Dhuafa/Totok Hadi/Muthohar)
