“In our country, it is not smart people who are lacking. It is not the talented children who are few. In our country, the opportunities and environment for the growth of talent and creativity of young Indonesians are limited. It turns out that a person’s economic level is not directly proportional to the quality of thinking and intellectuals concerned,” he explained.
According to Bambang, these students initially departed from marginalized children. After graduating from elementary school, they were gathered in this school far away from their parents. Of course, the atmosphere was still pitch black at that time, but thank God it is now brightly lit.
Present to give a scientific oration, KH Muhammad Cholil Nafis. He said synergy is the key to success in participating in the community to develop the country. Synergy is to build and ensure productive cooperative relationships and harmonious partnerships with stakeholders to produce valuable and quality work. The language of religion teaches us to help each other in kindness (ta’awun ‘alalbirri wa al-taqwa). Cooperation from different paradigms (mindsets) through synergy will realize greater and more effective results by carrying out processes to achieve common goals.
He then congratulated all graduates, teachers, and parents.
“To the graduates, graduates, and accompanying families, I congratulate and pray for blessings on behalf of myself and as the head of the Central MUI. On this occasion, I would also like to congratulate the entire Dompet Dhuafa family, who have produced new graduates who will increase capital for the Indonesian nation in building a better future. Hopefully, Dompet Dhuafa can continue to improve the quality of its role in carrying out the mandate of educational institutions; producing Indonesian people who are knowledgeable, have high integrity with Islamic religious values, have broad insight; Carry out service that provides the greatest benefit for the welfare of the people,” he concluded.
