JAKARTA — The ongoing onslaught by Zionist soldiers continues to inflict suffering on the Palestinian people. By the last week of November 2023, the death toll in Palestine had exceeded 15,500 lives. The international crimes committed by Israel against Palestine have awakened many to assist our brothers and sisters there, prompting donations for Palestine from various quarters, including Qiscus.
On Tuesday (28/11/2023), Qiscus made a donation for Palestine through Dompet Dhuafa at the Philanthropy Building in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. Qiscus is an Indonesian-based startup company that facilitates businesses in connecting with their customers using real-time communication technology.
Etika Setiawanti, the Director of Resource Mobilization at Dompet Dhuafa, joyously welcomed the Qiscus team’s visit to the Dompet Dhuafa Office, noting the increasing public attention towards the situation in Palestine.

The donation for Palestine collected by Qiscus and channelled through Dompet Dhuafa amounted to IDR 167,124,220. Qiscus disclosed that the humanitarian funds originated from two sources: contributions made by employees and direct contributions from the Qiscus company itself.
“The donation amassed by Qiscus stemmed from two sources. Firstly, from the collection of donations made by employees for Palestine, and secondly, from contributions by the Qiscus company. The CEO made a commitment that for every donation made by an employee, the company would match the amount. For instance, if the employees donated IDR 50 million, then the company would also contribute IDR 50 million, ensuring the total collected matched the amount handed over to Dompet Dhuafa,” stated Delta Purna Widyaangga, CEO of Qiscus.
