LAMPUNG — After TK Islam Terpadu Az Zahra was inaugurated and opened registration for new students in 2022, now the school founded by Dompet Dhuafa is organizing a student graduation for the first time on Tuesday (20/6/2023). The first graduation of the class of 2023 was held at Pusat Belajar Mengaji (PBM) Az Zahra, Cahaya Negeri, Abung Bar District, North Lampung Regency, Lampung.
PBM Az Zahra Dompet Dhuafa stands on a waqf land that has an area of three hectares. Dompet Dhuafa continuously oversees the education of the underprivileged humanistically to create the next generation of the nation who excels in achievement and has noble morals. This event was also enlivened by an art stage that showed various creativity of TK Islam Az Zahra students.
The opening song which featured all participants started the event, as well as opening the initial graduation of TK Islam Terpadu Az Zahra. On this occasion, students of TK Islam Az Zahra performed selected prayers, selected surahs, young dai lectures, Asmaul Husna, as well as traditional dance dramas.

The graduation ceremony was also attended by representatives of the foundation, the village head, school units, and parents of TK Islam Az Zahra students. The invited guests present looked enthusiastic when watching the show. It was seen that some of the audience were entertained and carried away by the happy and joyful atmosphere of watching their children perform on stage.
The principal of TK Islam Az-Zahra, Ustaz Surya said that this graduation ceremony was the first graduation which graduated the first batch of kindergarten B students. According to him, education is an investment for this country, so without knowledge, it is the same as someone who is lack of supplies.
“Therefore, let’s remain eager to educate the children, accompany them while learning, support them, and equip them with science, knowledge and civilization,” he said.
A number of parents were moved as their children went through the graduation procession. One of them was Astuti. She felt proud that her child received a good education.

“TK Islam Az Zahra is really impressive and it educates the students by giving good morals,” she said.
Dompet Dhuafa itself has committed to serve to develop a generation of intelligent, civil, and mature Muslims. The presence of TK Islam Az Zahra Cahaya Negeri is a manifestation and a form of Dompet Dhuafa’s contribution to Early Childhood Education.
